PCAP Touch Panels

The Projective Capacitive (PCAP ) touch panel consists of two spaced layers of glass or film, which are coated with conductors such as Indium Tin Oxide (ITO). The Human body acts an electrical charge conductor so that when a finger touches the capacitive surface, it changes the local electrostatic field. The system continuously monitors the movement of each tiny capacitor to find out the exact area where the finger had touched the screen.  PCAP touch panels can handle up to 10 touches simultaneously. We serve industries needing precision and resilience—from kiosks to medical panels.

How Can Touch Displays Change Lives and Improve Business?

Touch displays have become more than just an interface—they’re a bridge between people and technology. Whether used in hospitals, factories, retail environments, or field equipment, touchscreens streamline interaction, reduce complexity, and create more intuitive, efficient experiences.

In healthcare, touch displays enable faster, more hygienic data entry and patient monitoring, improving care and reducing risk. In industrial settings, they simplify complex workflows, allowing operators to control machinery, monitor systems, and respond to alerts with minimal training. In retail and hospitality, interactive screens enhance the customer experience—speeding up transactions, reducing wait times, and enabling self-service in ways that increase satisfaction and revenue.

Touchscreens also play a vital role in education, transportation, and public service environments, making digital access more inclusive and responsive. For businesses, this technology not only improves productivity and user engagement—it also creates opportunities to collect data, optimize processes, and reduce human error.

At Displays.Direct, we understand that touch display solutions aren’t one-size-fits-all. That’s why we offer both standard and custom-engineered touchscreen systems designed to perform in the environments that matter most—whether that’s a cleanroom, a warehouse, a checkout counter, or the back of a service vehicle.
